The Freestyle Pro Tour (FPT) is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated start of its 2025 season at boot Düsseldorf, the world’s largest watersports trade fair, from January 18-26th. This landmark event will take place on the final weekend of the trade show, from January 25-26th, and not only feature the world’s best windsurfers competing for the largest prize pot in Tow-In Freestyle Windsurfing history, an unprecedented €15,000, but also mark a transformative new era for the sport.
In a groundbreaking move, the Freestyle Pro Tour will officially crown World Champions in Tow-In Freestyle Windsurfing starting in 2025, positioning the tour as the pinnacle of competitive Tow-In Freestyle Windsurfing globally. With this evolution, the FPT cements its status as the Freestyle Windsurfing Tow-In World Tour, delivering world-class competition, innovation, and excitement to athletes, fans, and partners alike.
A THRILLING COMPETITION AT boot 2025

The boot 2025 event will bring together the elite of the sport in a spectacular indoor arena, providing a thrilling showcase of power, precision, and creativity as competitors battle for their share of the record-breaking €15,000 prize pot. With dazzling tricks, and thousands of spectators passing through the trade-show daily, this event is set to redefine the boundaries of Tow-In Freestyle Windsurfing.

The Freestyle Pro Tour will unveil a full calendar of Freestyle Windsurfing events later this month, featuring familiar locations with some new opportunities in the mix as it continues to work on a steady but strong growth. These events will culminate in the crowning of not just the inaugural Tow-In Freestyle Windsurfing World Champions but also the Freestyle Pro Tour Freestyle and Foilstyle Champions, as well as the highly acclaimed European Title, solidifying the FPT as the ultimate platform for showcasing innovation and excellence in the sport.
