The Freestyle Pro Tour is pleased to announce the fourth edition of the FPT Awards! The FPT Awards aim to celebrate riders and media creators who have made significant contributions to the sport over the year. Submissions are now open, so make sure to send in your clips and nominations for this year’s awards. The deadline is approaching, so check the details below.
WHO CAN ENTER
Anyone can enter. The competition is open to all windsurfers, as long as the submission is freestyle-based or stylish.
Schedule
The awards will cover the entire year of 2024, and the deadline for submissions is December 31, 2024. The public vote for Best Move will begin on January 1, 2025, and the awards ceremony will take place ONLINE in February 2025.

Categories
For the 2024 FPT Awards, we will accept moves, videos, and nominations from 2024 only. The categories are:
- Best Trick (Men)
- Best Trick (Women)
- Best New Move
- Best Combo
- Most Improved Rider
- Stylemaster of the Year
- Best Video Part (as Rider)
- Best Freestyle Windsurf Edit (as Producer/Director/Filmer)

How to Enter
To enter, simply submit your video part, move, or nomination. If your submission fits more than one category, feel free to submit it to each relevant category. All we need is a link where we can download your footage to include it in the final show. Please send the original clips in the highest possible quality. Submissions are open now, and only clips from 2024 will be accepted.

Category Descriptions
- Best Trick (Men): The best single move performed by a male rider in 2024. Please include the location, date, move name, and rider name. The move can be performed on any type of windsurf equipment.
- Best Trick (Women): The best single move performed by a female rider in 2024, with the same submission details as above.
- Best New Move: For any new move performed in 2024, on any type of windsurf equipment.
- Best Combo: The best combo move of 2024, consisting of at least two moves performed as one continuous maneuver. This can be a new combo or an existing one.
- Most Improved Rider: Awarded to the rider who has shown the most progress in 2024, whether through improved performance or significant development in and out of events.
- Stylemaster of the Year: This award recognizes the most stylish rider, move, or moment of 2024. Nominate yourself or another rider, and describe the move or moment that you feel demonstrates exceptional style.
- Best Video Part (as Rider): The best video or segment featuring a rider in 2024. This award focuses on the rider’s progression and the stoke factor, with production value being secondary.
- Best Freestyle Windsurf Edit (as Producer): The most well-produced freestyle windsurfing video of 2024. This award is for the producer and recognizes their contribution to freestyle windsurfing. Submit video links along with the producer’s and riders’ names.

Terms & Conditions
- The FPT’s result will be final. We are sure there will be some really close calls between the best moments of 2024 but in the end there must be one winner. Please respect that decision and join us in celebrating the incredible achievements we will be crowning.
- Anybody may enter, including FPT staff, event organisers and their staff, so long as they are not within the final judging panel for the FPT Awards. The FPT stands for impartiality and shows this at every event, we stand by the unbiased opinions of our judges.
- Please do not re-submit the same move in the same category, only one submission per category will be accepted. You may submit the same move across differing categories.
- The FPT shall not be held liable for using and repurposing the media it has been sent for inclusion within the FPT Awards and the FPT Awards Night show and all media and PR campaigns in the build up to, and after, this time. Copyright responsibility and clearance for the usage of the footage relies on the person/s submitting that footage.
