FPT Naxos upgraded to 7 stars! - Calendar Update

With a month to go to the 2024 EFPT Freestyle final in Naxos, the event just got upgraded to 7 stars. This step up not only brings more prize money but also more points to the highly anticipated showdown at the 2023 Europeans Champions homespot. Taking place from the 16th to the 20th of October, the event will see Lennart Neubauer (Starboard/Severne/Maui Ultra Fins) defend his title. With insufficient conditions in Vieste earlier this year, all eyes will be on the greek island to decide the overall 2024 rankings! The title has been decided once before at the Flisvos Watersports center in Naxos, back in 2009. Check out the recap of that event below to get excited!

Calendar Update

In other news, unfortunately the 2024 FPT Brouwersdam has had to be cancelled. After a great event there last year, hopes were high to bring this classic freestyle location back on tour more permanently. With a multitude of challenges, this was not possible, meaning that for now all efforts are focused towards bringing the event back in 2025.

The other events for 2024 are fully confirmed and we cant wait to bring you the action! Starting with the FPT Geneva upcoming week where the Foilstyle and Tow-In titles will be decided, we will then have a Proving Grounds Series event in Denmark (Danish Open). Following that will be the freshly upgraded 7 star Freestyle final in Naxos. The first event for 2025 has also been confirmed already, with the Tow-In competition at the boot Dusseldorf in January. You can read more about that here.
