DAM X: Day 4

Since the wind forecast didn’t look too bad for today and the hopes were high to continue with the next round of the single elimination the skippers meeting has been schedulded for 10.00 am. With clearing up weather the wind slighty increased until midday and then unfortuantely dropped off completely.

Race director Tom Hartmann used the time though to prepare the whole crew and the contest area for the last day of competition tomorrow where the easterly wind is expected to kick in already in the early morning.

Saturday remained a chilled out day for the riders with several group activities starting from a fun slalom race to SUP polo, an autograph session and a tow-in show.

If you haven’t seen the footage of Continentseven that was mainly shot during the highly impressive tow-in final, make sure to check out their video:

We’ll start early tomorrow with the skippers meeting set for 08.00am with the first possible start 8.30am to make sure we can use every possible chance of re-starting the freestyle competition.
